An accessory in universal colors with a print inspired by tradition. It is created using a technology that reproduces traditional block printing. This is a technique for creating patterns on fabric using carved forms. In the 15th century, the city of Krolevets in the Sumy region was considered the center of block printing art. It looked like this: wooden boards or clichés were dipped in paint and used to make an imprint on fabric.
Each print is handmade: from creating the stamp to applying the ornament to the fabric. “The basis of the design is traditional Ukrainian floral ornaments created using the vybiika technique: stems with leaves, flowers, bunches of grapes, birds,” says the author of the print. It is complemented by a stylized coat of arms, as a reminder of home.
